As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will drive business growth by understanding customer needs, providing technical solutions and effectively articulating the value of our products or services. Your role will be pivotal in effectively communicating technical information to customers and helping to develop and maintain relationships to build trust.

  • Acting as the interface between customers and production with the aim is to satisfy both sides. To achieve this, strong technical and business knowledge is required and ability to explain complex, technical products, how they work and their added value for customers
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships by presenting and selling technical products and services. In doing so, you will work closely with product management and development to ensure that the offers meet customer requirements
  • Acquire new customers and maintain existing customer relationships through targeted sales and marketing measures and a deep understanding of complex, technical products

Technical Sales Engineer (m/f/d)

  • Identify and acquire new customers and maintain existing customer relationships
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Understand our product/service’s technical features, functionalities and benefits
  • Conduct Market and Competition analysis to stay up to date on industry trends and identify new sales opportunities
  • Study customer needs, pain points and business challenges and create customized sales proposals and quotations
  • Collaborate with internal development and production teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions
  • Conduct product demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations to showcase the value of our solutions
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to customers throughout the sales process
  • Contributing to sales strategies, pricing decisions and contract negotiations based on technical considerations
  • Develop and deliver technical documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications and product training sessions
  • Participate in sales meetings, trade shows and industry events to promote our products or services
  • Willingness and ability to travel (by land and/or air) as required, domestically and internationally
  • All other duties as assigned

For us | the perfect reinforcement

  • Degree in the field of Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a sales engineer or in a similar technical sales role
  • Strong technical background and ability to understand complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrable experience in presenting technical products and services to customers, providing expert advice and troubleshooting customer queries
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Familiarity with CRM and other sales and production management tools (ERP, customer and product databases, etc.)
  • Ability to both lead and follow cross-functional teams
  • Can-do attitude and strong team-orientation
