Hydrogen is considered the energy carrier of the future and can make a decisive contribution to decarbonisation. It is mainly used in power generation, the industry and mobility sector and in the heating market. The greatest potentials lie in the fuel industry, the heavy-duty transport sector and the steel industry. While hydrogen gas serves as an energy supplier in the automotive sector, the gas can also be used as a reducing agent in steel production, thus replacing coal and natural gas.
Only in very few cases the hydrogen is produced on site and must therefore be delivered. This is where we, as an established manufacturer of quantity measurement systems, come into play. In cooperation with the experienced calibration laboratory of Trigas FI GmbH, we have developed product solutions for H2 filling station operators and hydrogen gas suppliers:
Our RMS hydrogen reference measuring system makes it possible to carry out a complete metrological test, e.g. of a hydrogen filling station, within a few hours. The measurement results of our RMS are the basis for the custody transfer test of the system or an acceptance test according to SAE J2601.
The compact GH2+ system series was developed for measurement and accounting of highly compressed hydrogen transported in trailer vehicles. The flow measurement system stands out from competing systems due to its temperature-independent mass flow measurement and guarantees high accuracy and safety, thanks to its custody transfer certification.
The RMS Hydrogen Measurement Reference System serves as a compact solution for metrological tests of hydrogen filling stations. Above all, its significantly faster testing procedure (compared to the previous test) reduces downtimes and respective costs.
The GH2+ Custody Transfer Metering System For Gaseous Hydrogen serves as a flow measurement system for deliveries of H2 by hydrogen trailers. The system is characterised by its ease of use and integration.
