Pressure meters and controllers for gas
Fast pressure controllers keep your process stable and repeatable. With the Alicat units we offer many ways to customize your pressure controller for use in flowing, dead-ended or vacuum applications. Dual-valve models for closed volumes eliminate the need to continuously bleed expensive process gases. Instruments are available with absolute, gauge or differential pressure sensors for pressure control as high as 3000 psia/psig (or 150 psid) and as low as 10 torr.
Making You Faster
- Numerous user-selectable engineering units.
- Includes COMPOSER™ gas composition firmware.
- Extreme quick response time: 10 ms for meters, 50…100 ms for controllers.

PC Standard Series Pressure Controller
PC Specs
PC-series absolute or gauge pressure controllers contain pressure sensors that are referenced to vacuum (absolute) or to local barometric pressure (gauge). PC3-series absolute or gauge pressure controllers have flow paths that are isolated from their pressure sensors. Instead, an external pressure sense port can be plumbed to measure pressure at any point in your system.
The EPC series condenses our single-valve PC series absolute or gauge pressure controller into a bare-bones form factor that is ideal for OEM applications and large-quantity orders.
Differential pressure
PC-series differential pressure controllers maintain a constant pressure differential between their two measurement ports. Like the PC3 above, each of the two pressure measurement ports of the differential pressure controller can be plumbed to any point in your process.

PCD Dual-valve pressure controller for closed volumes
PCD-series absolute or gauge pressure controllers contain pressure sensors that are referenced to vacuum (absolute) or to local barometric pressure (gauge). In addition to inlet and outlet ports, a third process port connects the sensor to your closed volume. PCD3-series absolute or gauge pressure controllers have flow paths that are isolated from their pressure sensors. In addition to the process port, an external pressure sense port can be plumbed to measure pressure directly from any point in your closed system.
The EPCD series compacts our dual-valve PCD series absolute or gauge pressure controller into a bare-bones form factor that is ideal for OEM applications and large-quantity orders.

PCD Differential Pressure Controller
Differential pressure instruments from Alicat have sensors that measure the difference in pressure between any two points in your process. If you leave the downstream port open to atmosphere, the differential pressure readings become equivalent to gauge pressure readings, allowing differential pressure instruments to work as gauge pressure instruments as well.
P-series differential pressure transducers display the pressure difference between your two measurement points. The PB-series differential pressure transducers add a rechargeable battery to make pressure audits easy.
PC-series differential pressure controllers use a single valve to maintain a constant pressure differential between their two measurement ports. Their flow paths are isolated from the two ports of the differential pressure sensor. Each of these two pressure measurement ports can be plumbed to any point in your process.
PCD-series differential pressure controllers use two valves to control pressure differentials for closed volumes. The second valve opens only to vent excess pressure from the system. Like the PC series above, each of the two pressure measurement ports of the PCD for differential pressure is isolated from the flow path and can be plumbed anywhere in your system.
P-Series Digital Pressure Transducers
Digital pressure transducers from Alicat provide real-time measurements of absolute, gauge or differential pressure.
Absolute or gauge pressure
P-series absolute or gauge pressure transducers reference pressure to vacuum (absolute) or to local barometric pressure (gauge).
PB-series absolute or gauge pressure transducers add a rechargeable battery to make your pressure transducer easily portable.
Differential pressure
P-series differential pressure transducers display the pressure difference between the two measurement points. If you leave the downstream port open to atmosphere, the differential pressure readings become equivalent to gauge pressure readings. The PB-series differential pressure transducers feature an integrated rechargeable battery.
