TrigasDM provides the RMS reference metering system and performs mobile on-site calibration of your hydrogen refueling station – in 4–6 hours, DAkkS-certified and officially recognized.

TrigasDM developed the RMS in close collaboration with operators and manufacturers of hydrogen refueling stations, as well as the PTB and other national metrology institutes. The result: a compact, mobile reference metering system that enables a complete metrological verification of your hydrogen refueling station or H₂ dispensing system within just a few hours.

The measurement results of the RMS form the basis for legal metrology verification in accordance with SAE J2601 and provide a precise report including dispensed quantity, mass flow, pressure, and temperature profiles. Delivered as a complete data file, ready for immediate use by authorities and for documentation purposes.

In cooperation with our partner laboratory TrigasFI GmbH, we offer the complete calibration service from a single source. TrigasFI is the first laboratory with DAkkS / ISO 17025 accreditation as a mobile lab for hydrogen dispensing systems.

This means for you: maximum quality, full regulatory acceptance – and not a single day of unnecessary downtime.

How your calibration service works

Step 1 – Order placement
You contact TrigasDM and book your calibration appointment – flexibly aligned with your operations.

Step 2 – Preparation
We coordinate the appointment with the verification officer and take care of all regulatory requirements. You will receive all necessary information well in advance.

Step 3 – On-site calibration
Our team comes to your site with the RMS. Setup and dismantling take approx. 1 hour. The automated measurement then runs for 3–6 hours, depending on the number of dispensers and measurement ranges.

Step 4 – Documentation
After successful calibration, you receive your DAkkS calibration certificate – fully documented, officially recognized, and ready for immediate use.

Step 5 – Done
Your station is fully operational again. No paperwork, no follow-up required.

Hydrogen Metering System GH2+

The compact GH2+ system series was developed for measurement and accounting of highly compressed hydrogen transported in trailer vehicles. The flow measurement system stands out from competing systems due to its temperature-independent mass flow measurement and guarantees high accuracy and safety, thanks to its custody transfer certification.

GH2 Source – Calibratable hydrogen flow measurement directly at the electrolyzer

GH2 Source was developed to measure high-density hydrogen at the source’s delivery point for filling trailers. The flow measurement system stands out from competing systems thanks to its temperature-independent mass flow measurement and, thanks to its certification in accordance with the Measurement and Calibration Ordinance, guarantees legally compliant billing, high accuracy, and safe operation of the system.

GH2 Hub – Calibratable stationary flow measurement system for gaseous hydrogen

The GH2 Hub from TrigasDM® is a stationary, calibratable flow measurement system for gaseous hydrogen, designed for unloading hydrogen trailers at stationary receiving points and trailer exchange stations. The system enables precise and legally compliant recording of the delivered H₂ volumes—regardless of fluctuating flow rates. GH2 Hub thus provides the legal basis for billing stationary hydrogen refueling in industrial applications.

RMS – Hydrogen Fueling Stations: Rapid Metrological Testing

Our RMS Hydrogen Reference Measurement System makes it possible to conduct a complete metrological inspection, for example, of a hydrogen refueling station, within a few hours. The measurement results from our RMS serve as the basis for the metrological inspection of the facility or for acceptance testing in accordance with SAE J2601. The measurement system is characterized by its compact size and can be easily transported in a passenger car. A measurement campaign can thus be carried out by a single person in approximately 3 or 4 hours.
